1. Your personal data – what is it?
Personal data relates to an individual who can be identified from that data. Identification can be by the information alone or in conjunction with any other information in the data controller’s possession or likely to come into such possession. The processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”).
2. Who are we?
The Company Coach Ltd is a specialist organisation providing business coaching, training, consultancy and assessment tools. The data is held for the purposes of marketing, financial control and for the application of our business services above.
3. How do we process your personal data?
The Company Coach Ltd complies with its obligations under the “GDPR” by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.
We use your personal data for the following purposes: -
.To enable us to provide business services as detailed above;
.To administer financial records including payments (no credit card data is ever kept);
.To promote ourselves to those who have willingly provided contact details;
.To maintain our own accounts and records for tax and VAT purposes;
.To inform contacts of relevant news, events, activities and services;
4. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?
.Explicit consent of the data subject so that we can keep you informed about our business services.
.Processing is carried out by us provided: -
o.the processing relates only to customers, resellers or potential customers (or those who have regular contact with us in connection with those purposes); and
o.there is no disclosure to a third party without consent.
5. Sharing your personal data
Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be shared with other associates of The Company Coach Ltd in the instance of processing assessments. Each of these organisations and individuals are well known and trusted by us and each have their own GDPR policies in place and will NOT share your data with any other third parties.
6. How long do we keep your personal data?
All financial data such as copies of invoices and expenses we will retain for 7 years in line with HMRC guidelines. All other data relating to conducting our business as defined above we will retain for 5 years. In the cases of assessment tools, all personal data will be removed after 5 years but the raw data (data which cannot be tracked back to anyone) will be retained to assist with validation techniques to help improve norms and improve the products generally.
7. Your rights and your personal data
Unless subject to an exemption under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data: -
.The right to request a copy of your personal data which The Company Coach Ltd holds about you;
.The right to request that The Company Coach Ltd corrects any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date;
.The right to request the erasure of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for The Company Coach Ltd to retain such data;
.The right to withdraw your consent to the processing at any time
.The right, where there is a dispute in relation to the accuracy or processing of your personal data, to request a restriction be placed on further processing;
.The right to object to the processing of personal data, (where applicable)
.The right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office.
8. Further processing
If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Data Protection Notice, then we will provide you with a new notice explaining this new use prior to commencing the processing and setting out the relevant purposes and processing conditions. Where and whenever necessary, we will seek your prior consent to the new processing.

Data Protection Policy for The Company Coach Ltd.
Introduction
The purpose of this policy is to enable The Company Coach Ltd to:

. Protect The Company Coach Ltd from the consequences of a breach of its responsibilities.
Brief introduction to Data Protection law
UK law as contained in The Data Protection Act and as extended by the General Data Protection Regulation gives individuals the right to know what information is held about them. It provides a framework to ensure that personal information is handled properly. It covers all types of contact details as well as personal information.
The law states that anyone who processes personal information must comply with eight principles, which make sure that personal information is:

.Adequate, relevant and not excessive
.Accurate and up to date
.Not kept for longer than is necessary
.Processed in line with the rights of Data Subjects

The other area covered by the Act provides individuals with important rights, including the right to find out what personal information is held in electronic format and on paper records.
Policy statement
The Company Coach Ltd. will:

.Keep all personal data held in electronic form with a mnimum of password protection

The Company Coach recognises that its first priority under the law is to avoid causing harm to individuals. Information about members will be used fairly, securely and not disclosed to any person unlawfully.
Only in the cases where third parties are there to process electronically assessment tests results, will data be handled outside the company’s own electronic environment. Permission is assumed to be granted by the completion of the assessment tool. Each of these third parties will have compliance to the GDPR regulations which may be inspected by the Company Coach Ltd. Apart from this above processing The Company Coach Ltd will not disclose any customer, reseller or prospect contact details to third parties without their express consent.
Secondly, the law aims to ensure that the legitimate concerns of individuals about the ways in which their data may be used are taken into account. In addition to being open and transparent, The Company Coach Ltd will seek to give individuals as much choice as is possible and reasonable over what data is held and how it is used.
Finally The Company Coach Ltd undertakes the processing of personal data in accordance with GDPR and data protection principles.

This policy may be updated in the future depending on improvements to our processing of data or which will reflect updates in Data Protection laws. These updates will be circulated to all those effected.
